To let someone do different kind of jobs in and around the house it's necessary to have a good relationship (based on trust). Therefore we always make an appointment to meet each other to discuss everything,... and of course to introduce ourselves. If you have a good idea in which way I might be  make you a detailed quote / offer. This proposal will indicate all the necessary activities as well as the prices. Based on a discussed hour wage I will do the job, the needed material is also specified. With (larger) projects a total price can be given,... but the are jobs that aren't possible to quote before starting (an estimate will be given instead), but all these things are mentioned before getting started. If you agree with my proposal, both parties know what they agreed.

Furthermore I believe in long-term relationships, if possible. Mouth to mouth is the best way of selling your services.
